The RNI memories
of Michael Downing for this period A lot of good tracks in this Top 50 - the
first hit by Catapult, the first hit by the Shoes in over 3 years and a rare
solo hit by Jan Akkerman amongst the best. I stopped my daily RNI diary at the
beginning of March 1974 - I can't remember why, probably just too much else
to do - but this is the last week: Saturday 23 February 1974 The records that I have heard most on RNI
over the past week have been: Love Unlimited Orchestra - Love's Theme MFSB - TSOP Hollies - The air that I breathe Barry White - Never never
gonna give you up Lulu - The man who sold the world David Bowie - Rebel Rebel Suzi
Quatro - Devil Gate Drive Mud - Tiger Feet Medicine Head - Slip and slide Stylistics - Rockin'
roll baby Neil Sedaka - A
little lovin' Shoes - Face to face Alvin Stardust - Jealous Mind Stevie Wonder - Living for the city Wings - Jet Barry Blue - School Love Leo van der Goot is back on the weekend Driemaster

ten Hooge. In the first hour of the Troef 20, the tips are interspersed with tracks from the

have to do is work out the word. Monday 25 February 1974 Tonight's programmes: 20.00 Roger Kent 22.00 Robin Banks 1.00 Don Allen 4.00 - 6.00 Louise Quirk (Skyline) Tuesday 26 February 1974 Marc van Amstel

takes over Buitengaats. International programmes are the same as last night. Wednesday 27 February 1974 It is reported in today's Record Mirror
that RNI will soon be experimenting with a new aerial, but may need to go off
the air for a few days to prepare for this. No date has been set for this
work yet. Programmes are the same as last night,
except there is no Skyline programme - RNI closes
at 4.00am for maintenance. Thursday 28 February 1974 Programmes
