nummer 28. The Middle of the Road stijgt deze week van 3 naar 1, waarbij ze
stuivertje wisselen met die andere hit van Rod McKuen. Op 38 komen The Doors
binnen met Waiting for the sun, een geweldig goed nummer. De kanskaart van
Peter Holland van Hannelore en de Meikevers ken ik niet. Datzelfde geldt voor

of Michael Downing for this period Saturday 23 October 1971 A tender today brings out Rob Eden and
Leo van der Goot to the Mebo 2 , as well as a new DJ
called Brian McKenzie, who had broadcast as Brian Webb on Radio Scotland.
Going off on shore leave are Dave Rogers and Nico Steenbergen and, leaving the Mebo
2 for the final time, Mark Stuart, who is returning to England. In view of
the recent rough weather, Dave Rogers had recorded a programme
for this evening, so tonight’s schedule is: 18.00 Rob Eden 20.00 Mike Ross 22.00 Paul May 24.00 Dave Rogers 3.00 Brian McKenzie 5.00 – 7.00 Rob Eden Rob Eden will now be the regular host for
the 18.00 to 20.00 “Drive Time” show. Also back on board today is Bruno the
engineer. RNI is using a new tender called the Tender Trip. One of the new
Smash Plays this week, by Marty, is not on board, as it fell into the sea
being thrown across to the Mebo 2 yesterday. There
are new hitpick jingles featuring Rob Eden, which go, for example, “Paul May…..hitpick”,
using Yes as backing music. A mobile discotheque today, in Belgium,
features Tony Berk and Dave Rogers, athough Mark Stuart was advertised. Newsreaders tonight
are Paul May and Rob Eden. Sunday 24 October 1971 Leo van der Goot hosts this morning’s “Kop Op” show and Tony Berk again presents Joost de Draaier’s Sunday show from 11.00 to 13.00. Tonight’s programmes are: 18.00 Mike Ross – In Concert (featuring T
