binnenkomer deze week vinden we op 28 : Horse with no name van America. Twee
van de kanskaarten zijn karnavalsnummers en d'r komen er nog wel meer de
komende weken. Tussen de kanskaarten vinden we deze week overigens geen
"obscure" nummers. Het plaatje Betsie Oh Betsie, waarvoor reklame
gemaakt wordt, is voor mij volledig onbekend. Deze Top 50 kun

The RNI memories
of Michael Downing for this period No 44 by the Congregation was a big hit
in the UK and also made the US Top 30, but didn't feature in the Veronica Top
40 or Tipparade. Also interesting to see how the first
new hits of 1972 (Dizzy Man's Band, Tony Marshall, Melanie) were really
shooting up the Top 50 in this week. My notes on RNI for this period: Thursday 13 January 1972 Brian McKenzie and Hans ten Hooge go off on shore leave, whilst Dave Rogers and Leo
