appear to have withdrawn their sponsorship of the request hour, which from
today becomes the RNI Request Hour. Again news is read today by Dave Rogers
and Mike Ross. Thursday 19 October 1972 Jos Kuyer and
Dick de Graaf go off on the tender and Marc van Amstel returns, reading
afternoon news. No change in International service DJs though. Dave Rogers
and Mike Ross are tonight's newsreaders. Friday 20 October 1972 At 20.05 in the
Mike Ross show, all the fuses in the small studio blew and RNI went off the
air for five minutes. Then Dave Rogers came on the air from the large studio
whilst Mike Ross sorted out the problem in the small studio. At 20.20 normal
programming resumed. Dave Rogers hosts the Skyline programme from 3.00 to
6.00 on Saturday morning and reads news, as does Mike Ross. A mobile
discotheque today features Tony Berk and Ferry Maat. New records
