You’re sixteen van
Ringo Starr is deze week de hoogste nieuwe op nummer 29. Lulu met The man who

The RNI memories
of Michael Downing for this week in 1974 Saturday 23 February 1974 The records that I have heard most on RNI
over the past week have been (excluding the Treiterschijf and Smash Play):
Leo van der Goot is back on Driemaster and
the Troef 20 this week, but the first hour of the Troef 20 has tracks from K-Tel's "20 Power
Hits" played in between the Troef 20 itself. Tonight's International service programmes are: 20.00 Roger Kent 22.00 Don Allen (Country'n'Western
Jamboree) 24.00 Robin Banks 2.00 Don Allen 4.00 - 7.00 Louise Quirk (Skyline) Sunday 24 February 1974 Tonight's programmes
are: 20.00 Roger Kent (Hitback
Show) 22.00 Graham Gill (Request Show) 24.00 Rob Eden (Contemporary Music) 2.00 - 4.00 Don Allen The hitback
competition returns at 21.15, but in a different from. Roger Kent plays three
records with a common word in the title. All you have to do is find the word. Monday 25 February 1974 Tonight's programmes
are: 20.00 Roger Kent 22.00 Robin Banks 1.00 Don Allen 4.00 - 6.00 Louise Quirk (Skyline) Tuesday 26 February 1974 Leo van der Goot and Tony Berk are the DJs
for a mobile discotheque today. Marc van Amstel
and Cass the Cook go off on the tender and returning in their place are Will Assens and Erik Post, who is on Buitengaats
tonight. Wednesday 27 February 1974 It is reported in this week's Disc that
RNI will soon be experimenting with a new sort of aerial. To enable the
necessary changes to be made, the station may have to go off the air for a
few days, but no date has been set for the work yet. Meanwhile, RNI closes
down at 4.00 tonight for maintenance, which is needed, as the signal has been
poor recently. Thursday 28 February 1974 As far as programmes
are concerned, there is little of interest today, but the signal is much
better today following last night's work. Friday 1 March 1974 Roger Kent, Don Allen and Gerard Smit all go off on shore leave and returning in their
place are Graham Gill, Brian McKenzie and Hans ten Hooge. The artist featured in the special on Buitengaats this evening between 19.00 and 20.00 is Yes
and tonight's International service is: 20.00 Graham Gill (Toppers 20) 22.00 Brian McKenzie (Rock'n'roll
Special) 24.00 Robin Banks 2.00 Graham Gill 4.00 - 6.00 Louise Quirk (Skyline) Aretha Franklin's "Until you come
back to me", which is at number 11 in the Toppers 20, is not played as
it is not yet on board. New records played by RNI during the week
