Op 38 zien we de lange koude vrouw van de Hollies voor ’t eerst in de Top 50
en op 41 The talk of all the USA van de Middle of the Road. De B-kant van dat
plaatje staat op nummer 19 in de uitvoering van Big Secret. Jan Birkin en
Serge Gainsbourg zien we voor het eerst in de Top 50 met La Decadense op
nummer 48. Gilbert O’Sullivan zingt deze week de treiterschijf: de Engelse
versie van 1948 van Gerard Cox. De Kanskaart van Peter Holland komt me
volledig onbekend voor, ik ga ervanuit dat het hier om een re-release gaat

as featuring Rob Eden and Tony Berk, but as Rob is
still on board the Mebo 2 it is most likely that
Brian McKenzie will appear in this. Tonight’s programmes
are: 18.00 Rob Eden (International Prediction
Hit 40) 21.00 Terry Davis 24.00 Paul May 3.00 – 7.00 Tony Allan There is no Smash Play on the
International service this week, but two RNI station hitpicks
– “Run Run Run” by Jo Jo Gunne and “Turn your radio on” by Ray Stevens. Also there
is no LP of the Week on the International service. Rob Eden overruns on the
Top 40 show and the advertised “Facts about Europe” feature has not yet
started. Tony Allan reads news this evening. Ferry Maat
is now the permanent host for the Super Top 50 show between 12.00 and 15.00,
following the departure of Joost de Draaier. Sunday 19 March 1972 Gerard Smit
presents Kop Op this morning and evening programmes
are: 18.00 Tony Allan (Hitback
Show) 20.00 Rob Eden (Requests) 21.00 Paul May (Cloud Nine) 24.00 – 3.00 Terry Davis Terry Davis and Tony Allan are the
newsreaders. Again the promo for tonight’s mobile discotheque indicates that
Tony Berk and Rob Eden will be the DJs, but Rob is
still on board the Mebo 2. Monday 20 March 1972 Tony Berk is now
on the 12.00 to 14.00 programme on weekdays
following Joost de Draaier’s

Rothman’s Tobacco. Terry Davis and Tony Allan are the newsreaders again this
evening. Wednesday 22 March 1972 Leo van der Goot has interviews with the Ajax footballers playing in
this evening’s Ajax v. Arsenal football match in Driemaster
this afternoon. On the International service, Terry Davis and Tony Allan read
the news. Thursday 23 March 1972 Nico
Steenbergen, who has been to last night’s
Ajax-Arsenal game, returns to the Mebo 2 and Rob
Eden and Gerard Smit go off on shore leave. This
puts Tony Allan and Terry Davis into their fifth consecutive week on board.
